At the end of my genius project, Aman and I have completed our project on shoes. Aman and I successfully made a shoe company which is under the radar and not publicly published. We have made 5 advertisements of five different shoes for five different sports such as soccer, basketball, football, tennis, and track and field. The last step for us to complete was to make a 3D shoe design and to show to the class.

So far in our genius we have finished drawing and creating our designs. We have designed 5 shoes and they are: The elite cobras (Soccer Cleats) Elite king (Basketball Shoes) Elite Galaxy’s (Basketball Shoes) Elite Cheetahs (Soccer Cleats) and Elite supports (Tennis Shoes). We chose this area because Aman and I thought this would be a great area for us to explore our passion for creating and designing shoes for the future and one day that we could open our own company worldwide like Nike, Adidas etc. throughout this project we have learned how the market works and how to make a website and all the finance things. The biggest challenge for us thus far has been thinking of new ways to display our designs to the class and eventually the world, it’s been hard because of the originality and how creative it has to be just like the other companies. Our greatest resource has been Nike and Adidas because we looked how the designed and created their shoes and clothes. Our hopes for the final product are that we have all ten of our designed and finished drawings also displayed. In all I think that our product will be in the big leagues competing with the other industries.

Genius hour so far has been a great experience where we can discover ourselves.  Aman and I have decided to make a various shoe models for athletes everywhere. The shoes name is Elite which stands for “A group of people considered to be the best in a particular society or category”. So far we have made two shoe designs a Basketball shoe called Elite kings and our athlete showing of the shoe is Derrick Rose, and for our Cleats athlete is Gareth bale who plays in the La Liga league and his cleats are called Elite Cobras. Our next design will be for Track and field and hopefully our athlete will be Usain Bolt. Our website is very successful it will show all of our shoes that we designed so far and many more will come. Hopefully at the end of this project will be able to show off our shoe designs full ready and show a 3d model and give a pitch to the class to tell them why elite sports is going to be the number one shoe selling brand OUT THERE!!

the video our class watched today was do schools kill creativity? i dont think its fair that there are kids that are smarter then me just because they're better at remembering answers. and i dont need smarts. look at steve jobs, oprah winfrey, picasso. they got places in life without a good education., malcom x learned everything in jail.my problem with the education system is that im taught how to pass a test, not how to use the information in life. if shcools actually taught us other then passing our tests and teaching us how to use all that information for my career and my job
